Integrated design at Scyna Matrix means holding architecture, engineering, urban design, construction, construction management, and project and facility management in one conversation. Each discipline answers a question the others leave open.
Architecture
Architecture is architectural design shaped by research, environmental performance, material and structural logic, and the needs of people and place. It sets the spatial and material intent that the rest of the work carries.
Engineering
Engineering is coordinated with architectural intent and with the technical delivery of built-environment projects. It asks whether the design can be structured, serviced and built, and it returns that reading to the design.
Urban Design
Urban Design works at the scale of districts, movement, infrastructure and the relationship between buildings and public space. It keeps the street, the block and the district in the same brief as the building.
Construction
Construction is delivery informed by design intent, material logic, quality management and disciplined execution. It is where drawings meet materials, labour and sequence.
Construction Management
Construction Management coordinates construction across time, cost and quality, from procurement and scheduling through site delivery. It keeps the parties, the programme and the quality standard aligned with the design that was agreed.
Project and facility management
Project / Facility Management manages buildings, installations, complexes and infrastructure through delivery and subsequent operation. It extends the same brief into use.
Why the six belong together
Each service can be commissioned on its own. Together, they let a brief move from an urban setting, through a building and its engineering, into construction and then into the care of the finished place. Scyna Matrix presents that sequence as one practice.
